csharp
public abstract class Object

Namespace NodeWorld.Flux.

An object of the world (GameObject, component, render texture), seen by a script through a handle the host gives. There is one wrapper per handle, so == compares the objects themselves.

Properties

name

csharp
public string name { get; set; }

Name of the object; setting it renames it.

Methods

ToString

csharp
public override string ToString()

The name and the type, as "Door (GameObject)".

Instantiate

csharp
public static GameObject Instantiate(GameObject original, Transform parent = null)

A copy of a GameObject of the world, local to this player (not synchronized), under parent (null: next to the original). Its FL# scripts are created like the scene's, right after the current callback.

csharp
public static GameObject Instantiate(GameObject original, Vector3 position, Quaternion rotation, Transform parent = null)

A copy of a GameObject of the world for this player only, at position and rotation, under parent (null: next to the original). Its FL# scripts are created right after the current callback.

Destroy

csharp
public static void Destroy(Object obj)

Destroys what the scripts made: a copy, a camera, a render texture, a mesh, a video player; given a component, its GameObject. An object of the scene is not destroyed (turn it off with SetActive(false)). null does nothing.
