Explore on the website
Explore, in the side bar of app.nodeworldvr.com, lists the same servers as Explore in the game. Its tabs: All servers and Favorites.
Find a server
- The search field (Search by world or server...) looks in the names of the servers, the names of their worlds and their descriptions. A server found by one of its worlds says World: and that world's name.
- The region list (All regions, Europe, North America, Asia, South America, Oceania) keeps the servers of a region.
- Online keeps the servers that are running.
- When you show 18+ content, a list shows the 18+ servers with the others (With 18+), only them (18+ only) or none (Without 18+).
Each server shows its cover, its name, its players and the friends who are on it. The star adds it to your favorites. Show more shows the next ones.
Favorites has your favorite Servers and Worlds, starred here or in the game.
A server's page
Choose a server to open its page: its cover, its name, Hosted by and the name of its owner (choose it for their profile), its description and its Worlds. Favorite stars it (Favorited once done). Server not up to date shows when the server does not run the game's current version: nobody can join it until its host updates it. The More button (the three dots) has Report (see Report).
A world's page
Choose a world to open its page: its picture, its name, its server, its description, whether the server is online, the players and the region. Home world marks a world you can make your home world, Your home the one that is.
- New instance starts your own instance of this world: choose Who can join, and 18+ instance if you show 18+ content, then Open in NodeWorld. The instance waits 10 minutes for its first player. It needs the server online and up to date, and a computer or a Quest: on a phone the button does not show.
- Set home makes it your home world (Home set when it already is).
- Favorite adds it to your favorites.
- The More button: Report.
Friends here shows your friends in this world. Running now lists its instances, each with who can join it (Anyone can join or On invitation), your friends inside, its players and Open in NodeWorld. Other worlds of the server follow.
Open in NodeWorld
Open in NodeWorld takes you to the instance in the game, from a computer or from the Quest's browser. With the game open, its menu shows the instance on the World page: choose Join there. With the game closed, the website starts it. See Open an instance from the website.
When a new instance cannot start, the website says why:
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| This server is not up to date: an instance can't be created now. | Its host must update it first. |
| No room on this server right now. Try again later. | The server is not running right now, or no longer runs this world. |
| You are banned from this server. | The server's owner or a co-owner banned you. |
| 18+ content is for adults only. | An 18+ instance is only for adults who show 18+ content. |
| This instance has closed. | The instance no longer runs: choose another one, or start a new one. |
