Players

NodeWorld runs on Windows and Linux PCs, with a VR headset or on your screen, and on Meta Quest.

Start here#

1. Install NodeWorld on your device.
2. Create your account on the website, then start the game and link it.
3. Learn the controls, in VR and with keyboard and mouse.
4. Find your way in the menu: Y on the left controller, Esc on the keyboard.

Get started#

• Install NodeWorld: on Windows, Linux or Meta Quest.
• First launch and sign-in: the code that links the game, your home world, the language.
• Controls: the controller buttons, the keys, typing, the VR keyboard.
• Game updates: the update screen at launch.

The menu#

• The menu and its bottom bar.
• World, Home, Explore, Avatars, Friends, Profiles, Messages, Notifications, Gallery, Settings.

With other players#

• Instances and privacy: who can join, invites, opening an instance from the website.
• Portals: going through one, dropping one for your friends.
• Voice chat: your microphone, the others' voices, when nobody hears you.
• Nametags, Away (AFK), Do not disturb.

In the worlds#

• Camera: photos, selfie, timer, where they are saved.
• Sound volumes: world, voices, menu.

• Blocks, kicks and bans: block, report, and you can always leave.
