Install NodeWorld
NodeWorld is not on the Meta Horizon Store or on Steam yet, so you install it yourself. Pick the page of your device and follow its steps in order.
| Device | How you play | You need | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Windows PC | With a PC VR headset, or on your screen with keyboard and mouse | Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; the installer NodeWorld-Setup-<version>.exe | About 2 minutes |
| Linux PC | With a PC VR headset, or on your screen with keyboard and mouse | A 64-bit Linux with glibc 2.35 or later (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12 and later); the AppImage NodeWorld-<version>-x86_64.AppImage | About 2 minutes |
| Meta Quest | Standalone, in the headset | Quest 2, 3 or 3S; the Meta Horizon app on your phone; the NodeWorld .apk | About 15 minutes the first time |
Then start the game and sign in with your NodeWorld account. Once it is installed, the game updates itself (see Game updates). You create the account on app.nodeworldvr.com, from your phone or your computer.
If something goes wrong, each page ends with the usual problems, and Common problems has every message of the game. Still stuck? Ask on the NodeWorld Discord with a photo or a screenshot of what you see.
