The menu
In VR, the menu opens in front of you, in the world; with keyboard and mouse, it opens in the middle of your screen, over the dimmed world. Open or close it with Y on the left controller in VR, or Esc on the keyboard. It opens again on the page you left. You keep moving and talking while it is open; it closes by itself when you go to another world.
The side bar
At the top of the column on the left, next to the logo, are the time and the date of your device, and the game's frames per second when Settings > Display > Show FPS is on. The column leads to the pages:

| Friends | Your friends, where they are, the friend requests. |
| Your name | Your profile. Under your name: Visible to friends or Hidden from friends, whether your friends see where you are. |
| Settings | Sound, microphone, controls, display, privacy, notifications, account, the sites worlds contact. |
The bottom bar
Under the page, the bottom bar holds what you change often: your microphone, the volumes, seated play, respawn, photos, Do not disturb, and the buttons of your messages and notifications, with the number of unread ones.
