The HomeWorld TV
HomeWorld, NodeWorld's own world, has a TV in its pavilion, in front of the curved sofa. Anyone in the instance can put a video on it, pause it or move it: everyone watches the same video at the same point. Nobody owns the TV and there is no lock: the last player who acts wins.
The console
The controls are on the small console on the coffee table, facing the sofa. In VR, point at it with the ray and
press the trigger. With keyboard and mouse, press Tab to show the pointer, then click.
| Control | What it does |

| Link field and Play | Paste or type the link of a video (YouTube or another video site, or a direct link to a video file or stream), then press Play or Enter. The video starts from the beginning for everyone. |
| Play / pause button | Pauses the video for everyone, or plays it on. Once the video has ended, it plays it again from the beginning. |
| Time bar | Shows where the video is and how long it lasts. Drag it: everyone goes to that point. A live stream shows Live and cannot be moved. |
| Volume | The volume of the TV for you only: the others do not hear the change. It stays as you set it until you leave the world. |
In VR, the VR keyboard opens when you select the link field.
Watching together
- A player who arrives while a video plays joins it where it is.
- If your video drifts away from the others' (a slow connection, a pause to load), it goes back to their point by itself.
- When the video ends, the screen shows its picture of the islands again.
- The World slider of the sound volumes also covers the TV.
Messages
The line under the link field says what happens:

| Loading… | Your game is opening the video. A page of a video site takes a few seconds. |
| This is not a video link. | The text is not a web address. Copy the address of the video's page. |
| No video at this link. | The page has no video your game can open. |
| The site refuses this video (private, region or sign-in). | The video is private, blocked in your country, or needs an account. |
| The site refuses for now: try again in a moment. | The site got too many requests. |
| The video could not be played. | The network or the format failed. Put the video again, or try another link. |
