Your server on the website
My servers, in the side bar of app.nodeworldvr.com, lists the servers you registered and those you are a co-owner of. Each shows its state (Online, Offline or Disabled), List publicly when it is listed, Co-owner when it is not yours, 18+ and Server not up to date (it does not run the game's current version: nobody can join it until it updates, see Updates). Create a server registers a new one (see Register the server).
Choose a server to open its page.
Cover and public profile
At the top, the cover players see in Explore: Upload cover frames an image in a 3:1 band, Remove cover takes it off.
Public profile: the Name (80 characters at most), the Description (500 at most) and the Region of the server, then Save. Public page opens the server's page in Explore, once the server is listed.
Worlds
Worlds lists the worlds the server reported in its last heartbeat, with their players. Upload icon gives a world the picture players see in the menu and on the website, framed square; Remove icon takes it off. A world's name and description come from the world itself (see A world's name and description).
Before the server first starts, the page says No world reported yet. Start the server to see them here.
Refused worlds lists the worlds of your configuration that the server does not serve, each with why and what to do (see Each world is checked).
Visibility
- List publicly: the server shows in Explore for every player.
- Allow home hosting: NodeWorld may send players' home worlds to your server (see Your home world). Under it: Opted out, Waiting for admin approval until NodeWorld's admins approve it, Unavailable while offline or disabled, or Available for home routing.
- 18+ server: every world and every instance of the server is 18+, closed to minors. Marked 18+ by NodeWorld when NodeWorld's admins marked it (see 18+ servers and worlds).
Connection
The Server ID (with its copy button), the Endpoint players connect to as the server reported it (PublicAddress and PublicPort of its configuration), or Not reported, and the Last heartbeat, or Never. The server sends a heartbeat every 30 seconds while it runs.
Co-owners and banned players
Co-owners and Banned players are on Kicks and bans.
Credentials
Only the owner sees this part.
- Rotate token gives the server a new token, after Rotate token?: the old token stops working at once. New credentials shows the Server ID and the new Server token once: copy the token into
ServerTokenofserver-config.yaml(or run the setup assistant again), then restart the server. - Delete server, after Delete server?: removes the server's registration and invalidates its token at once. The server can no longer sign in to NodeWorld.
What a co-owner sees
A co-owner sees the server in their own My servers, marked Co-owner, and can do everything on its page except see its token, rotate it, delete the server and manage the co-owners.
