Explore
Explore lists the servers of NodeWorld. Every server belongs to whoever hosts it, and holds one or more worlds.
Find a server
- All servers shows every listed server, the featured ones bigger; Favorites your favorite servers, then your favorite worlds.
- Search servers filters by name.
- The region list (All regions, Europe, North America, Asia, South America, Oceania) keeps the servers near you: the closer, the smoother.
Each card shows the server's cover, its name and how many players are on it. Choose a card to open the server.
When you show 18+ content, 18+ servers are mixed with the others with their 18+ badge, and a filter next to the regions shows them all (With 18+), only them (18+ only) or none (Without 18+).
A server that does not run the game's current version is greyed and says Server not up to date: nobody can join it until its host updates it.
In Favorites, your servers are under Servers and your worlds under Worlds. A world's card shows its name, its server's name and its players: choose it to open the server on that world. A world its server no longer hosts is greyed and says No longer available; its star takes it off your favorites.
A server
The page of a server shows its worlds as photos. Choose a world to see its Instances: the copies of the world running now, with their players and who can join them.
- Join takes you into an instance; Ask for an invite when it needs one (see who can join).
- New instance starts your own copy of the world.
- The
...button of a world: Favorite world, Set home to make it your home world, and Report to report the world to the NodeWorld team.
When no instance runs, the page says No instance running. Join to start one. When the server is down: This server is offline. When it is not up to date: Its host needs to update it before anyone can join., and nothing on it can be joined.
The flag button next to Favorite reports the server to the NodeWorld team (see Report). An 18+ server, world or instance is marked 18+.
New instance
New instance opens a small window:
- Choose Who can join: Open, Social, Friends, Invite or Hidden (see who can join).
- Optionally, type a Code: friends who enter the same code land in the same instance. Lowercase letters, digits,
-and_only. - Choose Join to go there now, or Drop portal to put a portal in front of you that leads there. Who can go through the portal is who can join the instance. If there is no room in front of you, the window says No room for a portal here.
If you show 18+ content, 18+ instance makes it an 18+ instance: only adults who show 18+ content can find it and join. It works with Join; Drop portal is not available with it.
