Common problems
Find the message you see, as the game or the website writes it. Still stuck? Ask on the NodeWorld Discord with a photo or a screenshot of what you see.
The game does not start
- With a PC VR headset: start SteamVR, or Meta Quest Link / Air Link, and wait for the headset's home before starting NodeWorld.
- Without a headset: start the game with the launch option
--novr, otherwise it shows an error or a black screen (Windows, Linux). - On Quest: NodeWorld is in the App Library under Unknown Sources (Install on Meta Quest).

Linking the game to your account

The loading screen stops
The loading screen says what went wrong. Retry tries the same place again; after a website's Open in NodeWorld link that failed, it takes you to your home world.

In the menu and in the worlds

| This player does not want to be disturbed right now. | The player you invited has Do not disturb on. |
| The instance's owner does not want to be disturbed right now. | The owner of the instance you asked to join has Do not disturb on. |
| You are not allowed to do that here. | Kicking is for the owner of the instance, banning for the server's owner and co-owners. |
| This player is no longer here. | The player left before your action. |
| Images can only be sent once the conversation is accepted. | See Messages. |
| Too many images for now. Try again later. | 10 images a minute and 100 a day at most. |
| Too many reports in a row. Try again in a few minutes. | 10 reports in 10 minutes at most. |
| This world's scripts were stuck for 10 s: they are stopped. | The world stays, without its scripts (see You can always leave). |
