InteractableHighlight

csharp
public static class InteractableHighlight

Namespace NodeWorld.SDK.Client.Interaction.

The blue outline of VRChat around what the player can use: an interactable or a pickup of the world, while a ray or a hand of the player hovers it and does not hold it. Its mesh renderers get a rendering layer of their own; a pass of the player's camera (the main camera, not the mirrors), after the transparent objects, marks them in the stencil and draws them again shifted in eight directions, in blue around the mark, whole even behind other objects (Hidden/NodeWorld/ HighlightOutline). It uses the camera's own colour and depth: on Quest it merges into the camera's render pass, with no texture of its own and no full-screen pass (a mask texture and a blurred full-screen edge halved the frame rate there). Nothing is drawn while nothing is outlined.

Constants

RenderingLayer

csharp
public const uint RenderingLayer = 1u << 30

The rendering layer of the outlined renderers (the last but one: the worlds' lights and decals do not use it).

Methods

Set

csharp
public static void Set(GameObject target, bool outlined)

Outlines an object of the world (its mesh renderers and its children's), or stops.
