HandGripTracker
public sealed class HandGripTracker : IDisposableNamespace global.
The OpenXR grip pose of the controller in one hand (devicePosition / deviceRotation of the XR controller of that hand). OpenXR defines it on the hand that holds the controller, the same for every controller: its origin at the centre of the palm, its +X normal to the palm toward the right of the player for both hands, its -Z through the closed fist from the little finger to the thumb. In Unity's space: right = +X, forward = through the fist toward the thumb, up = from the knuckles toward the wrist. The aim pose of the controller (where its ray points, the transform of the XR rig's controller) has no such link with the hand: on Quest it points well below the fingers, and the hands of the avatar pointed to the ground (the elbows went up).
